I specialise in supporting first-time people managers and work with organisations that want to build confident, capable leaders. In partnership, we create cultures where people feel supported, included and able to perform at their best.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat itself:
- Talented people promoted into management without being provided with the necessary support and development
- Little clarity on the expectations of the manager’s role and team accountabilities
- Difficult conversations avoided
- Conflict left to escalate
- Burnout, disengagement and turnover following close behind
I’ve also experienced this first-hand as an “accidental manager”- feeling out of my depth, drawing on the best (and worst) leadership behaviours around me, and navigating people challenges without the skills I needed at the time.
These experiences are what drive my work today, underpinned by years of senior leadership experience in professional sport, online retail, travel and aviation.
